Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. The balance is due 60 days before departure.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
  • Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: 90% refund of total amount paid.
  • Cancellations 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
  • All refund requests must be made in writing to bookings@marutekadventures.com.

3. Changes & Transfers

  • Changes to bookings (dates, participants) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
  • Bookings may be transferred to another person up to 14 days before departure with written notice.

4. Health & Safety

  • Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit for the expedition.
  • Travel insurance covering adventure activities is strongly recommended.

5. Liability

  • Marutek Adventures is not liable for loss, injury, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or personal negligence.
  • Participants are responsible for their own belongings and safety during the expedition.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Respect for local cultures, wildlife, and fellow adventurers is mandatory.
  • Failure to comply with the guide’s instructions or expedition rules may result in removal from the trip without refund.

7. Acceptance

  • By booking an expedition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
